Jinko 4.8Kw 48v Jinko Lithium Battery JKS-B48100-HI is a low-voltage battery energy storage system based on a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery. It is one of the residential new energy storage products developed and produced by Jinko Solar Co., Ltd. This product can match most brand inverter protocols. It can be used with the inverter to effectively realize energy conversion and storage, solve the imbalance between distributed power generation and load, improve the stability and utilization rate of renewable energy generation, realize “ self-generation and self-consumption on the user side, and save electricity cost.

The excellent battery and BMS of this product can ensure a long cycle life.

Installation and Configuration

Installation Requirements

Working Temperature

Operating temperature range of this product: -20°C ~ 55°C and the optimal ambient temperature is 15°C ~ 30°C. Please note exceeding the operating temperature range will cause over/low temperature alarm or protection of the battery system which may reduce cycle life.

Working Environment

This product should be installed indoors and the site need to avoid the sun and be no wind, no conductive dust and corrosive gas

The installation location of the product should be away from the sea to brine and high humidity. The ground for product arrangement shall be flat band level and no flammable explosive or other materials around the product

Fire extinguisher System

For safety, the room must be equipped with a fire extinguishing system such as a portable dry powder fire extinguisher. The fire protection system needs to be inspected regularly to ensure it is in proper working condition.

Electrical interface check

Confirm whether the user’s PV device, or other power supply equipment has a DC output interface and measure whether the DC power output voltage meets the voltage range requirement in the table 2-1.1

Confirm that the max discharge current capacity of the DC power interface of the user’s PV device or other power supply equipment should be higher than the max charging current of the products used in the aforementioned table.

If the max discharge capacity of the DC power interface of the user’s PV device is less than the max charging current of the products used in table 2-1.1, the DC power interface of the user’s PV device shall have a current limiting function to ensure the normal operation of the user’s equipment.

Verify that the max operating current of the battery-powered user equipment (inverter DC input) should be less than the max discharge current of the products used in Aforementioned table.

Engineering Coordination

The power line specification shall meet the requirement of maximum discharge current for each product.

Make sure that the battery has enough room to install and that the brackets have enough load capacity.

Make sure the power line and ground wire are reasonable. Not easy to short-circuit, water and corrosion.

Unpacking Inspection

After the equipment arrives at the installation site, it should be loaded and unloaded according to regulations to avoid long-term sunlight or rain exposure. Before unpacking, the total number of packages should be indicated according to the shipping note attached to the package and the box should be checked for integrity

During the unboxing process, handle carefully to protect the surface coating of the item. Finally, read the documentation carefully before installation.

Installation Procedure
