Description
The DQ 32/80 is a compact, energy-efficient circulation pump engineered for reliable water movement in domestic and light commercial applications. Designed for durability and quiet operation, it delivers consistent performance in hot and cold water circulation systems such as solar water heating, HVAC, and general water transfer.
Manufactured to the trusted standards of Dayliff, the DQ 32/80 is built for everyday reliability and long service life.
What Is the DQ 32/80?
The DQ 32/80 is powered by an integral 2-pole asynchronous squirrel-cage motor designed to operate at three selectable speeds, allowing users to balance flow rate, pressure, and energy consumption based on system demand. With inbuilt capacitor and overload protection, it connects directly to the mains through a 5A fuse or MCB, making installation straightforward and safe.
Motor & Electrical Specifications
- Motor Type: 2-pole asynchronous squirrel-cage
- Speed: 2900 rpm (3-speed operation)
- Voltage: 1 × 240V
- Enclosure Class: IP54 (dust and splash protection)
- Insulation Class: F (enhanced thermal resistance)
- Protection: Built-in overload protection
This configuration ensures stable performance, electrical safety, and adaptability to varying circulation needs.
Operating Conditions
- Pumped Liquid: Thin, clean, chemically non-aggressive liquids
- Solids/Fibres: Not permitted
- Fluid Temperature Range: −10°C to 110°C
Note: Liquid temperature should be higher than ambient temperature - Ambient Temperature: 10°C – 50°C
- Maximum Operating Pressure: 6 bar
- Installation Orientation: Rotor shaft horizontal, vertical water flow
These conditions make the DQ 32/80 suitable for both hot and cold water circulation in controlled systems.
