Description
Overview
The PowerHelp-Mini is Vestwood’s mid-range portable power station — doubling the Rescube’s capacity to 2kWh while upgrading to 1,000W continuous output. This is the model that can actually run a fridge, making it the go-to choice for Kenyan homes and small businesses wanting serious backup power without a full solar installation.

What It Can Power
With ~1.6kWh usable (80% DoD): a 150L fridge for 8-12 hours, a 43″ TV for 6-8 hours, LED lighting for a 2-bedroom home for 10+ hours, laptop + Wi-Fi router overnight, multiple phone chargers, and a small fan. A typical evening setup (fridge + TV + lights + phones) lasts 5-8 hours comfortably.
IP54 Advantage
Unlike the IP20-rated Rescube, the PowerHelp-Mini carries an IP54 rating — meaning it’s protected against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction. This makes it suitable for covered outdoor areas, garages, workshops, and semi-exposed locations where the Rescube would be at risk.
Fast Charging
AC grid charging at 1,150W fully recharges the battery in just 2-2.5 hours — one of the fastest charge times for a portable station in this class. Solar charging at up to 600W via MC4 recharges in 4-5 hours in good sunlight. Devices can run while charging for continuous operation.
